For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.They should have left before now but as it was decided to invade (illegally in my view) without plans for a new infrastructure there was no option but to stay, thus prolonging the misery for the Iraqi people, making new enemies for ourselves and losing the lives of many in the armed services.
A few weeks ago when more service men were dying because of the lack of some equipment, our former PM purchased a wave machine for his swimming pool for �30,000 or so...rant,rant,rant.

Stating the obvious why has no one come to this conclusion. 'We don't enter a country to fight the terrorists' It's only once we are ensconced there that the terrorists follow us in'. The insurgents in Iraq have not been killed off they have just moved to Afghanistan. They like to pick a battle! The moral, get out!!
