Joy, fortunately that branch was empty (I work two min away from it) RBS were likely to be a target so I can not understand why they did not board up the front up like most other buildings in the area.
Most people there went to protest peacefully, I wondered up there in my lunch hour because even though I work in the city not all of us live the high life and are just normal folk working hard for a living and to be honest I do support most of what the true protesters were voicing concerns about.
As usual there were people determined to cause trouble on both sides as I saw city workers taunting the protesters. I think the ones in masks etc are not a good representation of the true protesters and probably do not give a damn about the real issues but just want to cause trouble regardless.

Thank God for that Hazel!!!!! I agree with you, just why wasn't this building boarded up? they were inside throwing printers and papers out! At the beginning of the week I saw one of these "eco warriors" being interviewed, his name....Phoenix! who gives them these crazy bloody titles?
Unless it was his real name, maybe his Ma was a Greenham Common warrior???? you have smile at these folk though, that's if they aren't of the violent kind, they are gonna change the world!!!!
He was one of these people who intended to take over a large building on the embankment for their cause.......I say, Get a real job, get a life....Phoenix.....lol

Wasn't it the result the media wanted?
Not that they pre-judged the issue at all..........
