Well I think they are at least mildly cheerful in Caterbury!

Bl00dy bandits always trying to widen the circle of their friends.
The Pink Pound is not to be sniffed at.

Manchester's Gay Fest adds �19million into the local economy. Not an inconsiderable sum. If Canterbury are not exploiting this market, more fool them.

why don't one of them 'special' boys or girls do it themselves... seems like a good money making idea to me.... hmmmmm..... :D

The small matter of granting a licence, maybe?
Seems like a complaint about nothing at all.

If the town can support one or more gay bars, the market will dictate, as it does in all area of commerce, so if someone wants to open a gay bar, good luck to them.

I don't see that the council needs to get any more involved than it is already.

Was it a slow news day for the Express?

It's quite gay enough, believe me.
as far as I am aware there are no designated gay bars in York......there are a couple of pubs which the gay community have frequented since the 1960's but nothing labelled gay........
