President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad ,has rallied his supporter in Tehrans main square, thousand upon thousands are chanting support for this despot who want to wipe the state of Israel off the map, who has said the Holocaust didn't happen, he is only there as President because the crazy Mullahs decree he has to be to keep a grip on their fanatacism, I have two Iranian friends, they are shocked at the outcome of this"rigged" election, they told me the majority of the Iranian people want change to a pro democratic society

Quote, Then I'LL give you the views on the subjects you have mentioned .

The subject, if you remember, was whether Iran wants Israel wiped from the map. The proof I have provided takes the form of the political and financial support of Hamas from Iran.

You have not answered my previous question which only required a 'yes/no' response.

Im not getting into a debate about the rights and wrongs of male circumcision. Not in this thread anyway.

Youre making yourself look foolish by refusing to answer a simple question and attempting to fudge the issue by bringing in a completely unrelated topic.

Ill ask you again, just in case youve forgotten.

What would constitute proof in your eyes?

Thank you for answering my question as to what would constitute proof in your eyes.

Your answer - A reliable source.

Allow me to explain something...

Proof is proof. It does not matter from whence it came. If a sequence of events produces a logical conclusion then it does not matter who is saying it it is self evident.

For example, 1 + 1 = 2

If the Financial Times reports the above, it is true. If the News Of The World reports it, it is also true. The source is irrelevant.

Iran supports Hamas.
Hamas wants to wipe Israel from the map.
Both Iran and Hamas wants to see the destruction of Israel.

But of course, you won't accept that because it hasn't come from a 'reputable source'.

There are none so blind as those who will not see.

You say, I'm not here to answer your partisan assertions : I got involved in this thread to denounce the lie I mentioned in my first post.

But you specifically stated earlier in the thread, ... this despot who want to wipe the state of Israel off the map... Got ANY proof of that...

That was your first post wasn't it?

I haven't asked you to respond to anything other than your first post. I've posted my argument and 'proof' and you have singularly failed to address any points I have made.

As I said, you're making yourself look a bit foolish.

A simple answer will suffice.

Does Hamas seek the destruction of Israel? Does Iran fund and support Hamas?

PS. Swallowed a dictionary have we? You should read it then.

Your use of the word obscurantist is incorrect in this context. I am neither opposed to the spread of knowledge (quite the reverse in fact) nor am I being vague.

Also, disingenuous suggests that I'm being deliberately deceitful. Sorry wrong again.
Infundibulum

It's clear that you're not going to get into any sort of debate about Iran's affiliation to Hamas so the discussion really can't proceed in any meaningful manner.

Never mind.

We'll have to agree to disagree.

Bye.
