The more I read of these silly MEPs childish actions against what are after all democratic elected members of the European Parliament, the more I side with the BNP.

"She is a political prostitute, simple as that. She and her husband started off their careers as anti-common market and now they are there not just with their noses in the trough, they are in the trough."
I particularly like this bit from Griffin, the leader of a party that is anti-Europe and has just got himself elected onto the EU gravy train. Not sure if he is just an hypocrite or just plain stupid.

AOG...I have to agree with you.....he has been democraticaly elected and should be shown the respect of that.
I saw him on the Andrew Marr Show on Sunday and was impressed with the answers he gave to searching questions.
The more hostility that is shown against him, the more people will sympathise and support him.

Plain stupid possibly Gromit, but,
"She is a political prostitute, simple as that. She and her husband started off their careers as anti-common market and now they are there not just with their noses in the trough, they are in the trough."
is a pretty fair assessment of Mrs Kinnock and her buffoon husband.

That's something isn't it?
You know you're a parriah when you're too right wing for someone from Ian Paisley's lot to sit next to you!
No they're not childish actions, they're principled.
The political parties from the Left of the Labour party through the Tories to the DUP are saying
"Elected or not there is no place for racism in politics - we will not do business with you"
As for convincing you to side with the BNP I think most people here would assume that you have been squarely in their camp for a long time considering the nature of a lot of your questions.
But perhaps you don't consider yourself a racist
Do tell

Amazing, MPs are criticized for not having any principles.
When they do finally show some of their principles - ie not wanting to deal with / be associated with some one they despise, they are hounded.
he has been democratically elected and should be shown the respect of that.
So was Hitler. Would you be happy to sit next to him?

Well said Birdie, it is the same as people not talking with young tearaways, or Hoodies as they are called, the more they are ignored the more they will do to get noticed. It would be better to put them in the limelight and then they would realise the realities of life.....
At least if they are acknowledged they are put in a more confident and more accessible position.

Of course, the other school of thought is that by sitting down with them for rational debate you legitimise them, making them seem more palatable to the general public and putting the welfare of non-whites directly at risk.
Nick would love the photo opportunity of him looking like a proper grown-up politician.
I mean, if a chimp was voted into the Europeam Parliament, I'd expect my MEP to get up and walk off to show how ridiculous it is. I wouldn't think that's childish at all.
