circulates 3 - 4million, ie those people actually buy the thing and it is estimated that an average of 3 people actually read each copy. so we are lookinig at 9 - 12 million Sun readers. So why are the Liberal/lefty illuminati types contect th write off a 5th of the population as "Knuckle draggers" and other derogatory terms? Why are they so vitriolic towards those who do not share their flawed idiology?

How many of those readers do you think get their political views from the Sun?

It is important because the Sun follows the popular mood, so if the Sun has decided the popular mood is to ditch Labour, then they are probably right.

I don't think the Sun is that influential as to deliver tons of votes to the Conservatives that they would not get anyway.

Unlike say the Daily Mail which will never support Labour, the Sun is the floating voter of Fleet Street. If the Sun is changing sides, then it is following the national trend rather than setting it.

They usually claim "it was the Sun wot won it", but that is a boast without any truth.

Well I think in the case of 1992, the "If Kinnock wins will the last person turn out the light" headline didn't help Labour but I reckon old Kinnochio's victory rally the night before the election is what made the floating voters heave up and vote for the grey man.
