If this rally is allowed to take place in London, will we see a substantial contingent from this 99.999 per cent of Britain's "peaceful Muslims" taking the streets to oppose this "minority"?

Don’t know about the porn mags, smudge, but I have known plenty of fender's hard-core Muslims who either drink "for medicinal purposes" or drink suicidally more than is good for them in order to obliterate their anguish at not being able to stop. And fair-weather muslims who drink in moderation and are quite relaxed about it.

But RI, you have no idea how many of them would support an Islamic sharia state not just "underneath", but as in FitzGerald's Rubaiyyat, "in and out, above, about, below". And Im not sure how much an anonymous vote would help. They would have to be very sure it was anonymous, for a start. But what worries me is the way fundamentalists of all persuasions have minds like Spaghetti Junction and can go every which way at once. It's a much more frightening phenomenon that your fair-weather football fanaticism!

And daffy and jake, their demands ARE being taken seriously here in the UK and the Cof E. By the Archbp of Canterbury!

I didn’t know about the latest bra atrocities. Time was when the only danger to the bra was from incendiary feminists. What a cruel irony! In both cases it was the perception that they were inflammatory for men! But at least the feminists were cutting off their own noses to spite their faces (if they had any need of physical rather than fanatical support, that is).
