The short answer to your question is obviously Yes - and it remains to see how much further down the road of incompetance this government can lurch in this issue.

If they currently train to survive roadside bombs, and now that training is no longer to be taught, then it could result in the demise of those part time soldiers.
But is that training being cut?
"TA soldiers serve in Afghanistan, but the Ministry of Defence said operations would not be hit as they train with the regular Army before deployment."
