Not finding any reference to the latest Pakistan offensive in the newspapers, I did a quick search but could only find a mention of this from the BBC and the Guardian, why?

Apparently the Pakistanis used heavy artillery, tanks, planes and helicopters. No mention of huge civilian losses.

If we had taken this approach against the Taliban years ago, wouldn't we now be out of Afghanistan, job done?
