Apparently evaporated. I know your knowledge about science is great. Have you heard anything like that before?
Al qaeeda is a name created by the Americans. It is like suspense account in accounting. Anything you do not understand, dump in it. However if we believe in Al qaeeda as we have been told (for argument sake) then the biggest mistake Americans made was that they could not differentiate between Al qaeed and Taliban. Taliban leadership wanted proof of Osama Bin Laden being involved in 9/11. However proofs were given to Blair and Musharaf apparently and not to Taliban who were elected people.
AOG. during Taliban's time there was no poppy cultivation and records are very clear about that.
Anyone who believes that Alqaeeda leadership is in Pakistan ( I know American media do) they should reconcile it with their own army leadership who admit that 70% area in Afghanistan is still under Taliban control. So why would they hide in Pakistan where 150K cheaply hired Pakistani army are carrying out operations on behalf of USA plus all the American agencies are operating openly. It makes more sense to hide in the area that is under their own control.
