Senior politicians only have to show grief for a short while. The families have to live with it forever!

rov. good point. But how do you grieve for someone that you have never met, do no know and their death is not going to effect your own personal life in any way?...............I can't.

After many years contributing to Answer Bank, and being accustomed to brick-bats, insults and all round general criticisms, it has made me a little cynical and I have also learned to take most of therm on board, it is what debating is all about.

It is a pity that you seem to reserve the right to hand out criticism, but on the other hand feel hurt in some way when it is also directed your way.

In the meantime I hope you continue to enjoy the "News Section", but remember if you wish a more light hearted site, may I suggest " Chatterbox"

It is a pity that you feel that way.

Say that you knocked down and killed someone, surely that would effect your personal life would it not?

You would be responsible for their death, just as Brown is responsible for each and everyone of those deaths of these soldiers, that have took place while he as been in office.

AOG...sorry, I would obviously be upset at killing somebody, but provided I didn't know them, I would use the term "GRIEVE"

I have killed a couple of folks, but have never grieved for them.

Did a sniper in WW2 grieve for his victims?

Oddly enough and this is a personal thing, I find it hard to grieve.

sqad....grieving is different for each. I didn't grieve for my parents nor lost friends but do for OH as that was my life's partner. We fought a lot and was relieved at the loss but I think my grief is 'how it could/should have been'.
