Reading through this report it was interesting to read the following passage from it:

/// In Washington, President Barack Obama will convene his war cabinet to assess the first major test of his "surge" raising the number of foreign troops in Afghanistan to 150,000 by August in a bid to end the eight-year war.///

The questions I now ask are,

1/ Do we have a "War Cabinet", and if so who are it's members?

2/ If we don't, is the war in Afghanistan run by President Obama and his war cabinet?

3/ If we don't have our own war cabinet, should we at least have members on the US one?

All run by Bob Ainsworth's lot in the MOD isn't it.....
The UK's most recent "War Cabinet" is currently the Middle East envoy for the United Nations, European Union, United States, and Russia.
Up to President Blair we had a sofa government. It explains what the Chilcot enquiry is all about.

Under Brown we take orders from Obamas government. The US generals always reign sumpreme on the battlefield.
