Anyone else noticed this phenomena?
Or is it a fact. that mostly the disabled bays are taken up by 4 X 4s or Blue Badge relatives too idle to walk, (or ????? I won't go further, in case I am accused of being racist), with no spaces left for those who can't walk?

If they don't want people to keep parking in disabled spaces then they shouldn't put them so close to the shop entrance.
What a stupid answer Billy!!!
Should you ever be unfortunate to sustain a dissabilty at any time during your lofe time you will learn exactly why Disabled spaces are near the entrance.
DD, who knows first hand how important these spaces are!

Daffy prehaps the disabled bays were being used by drivers with children who couldn't get into their own bays because they were all being used by blue badge holders.
It works both ways non disabled shouldn't use the blue badge bays and people without small children with them shouldn't use the parent and child bays!

All just Daily Mail dodgy statistics.
There are 26million cars on the roads. There are 2.5 million Blue badges which is about 10% of all cars. The Mail is complaining about 6% of spaces being allocated to Blue Badge holders.
The Mail claim that 1.4 million people are registered disabled. Not true, there are 10 million registered disabled people in the UK , 5 million of those are pensioners.

Clearly, the Mail is fed up about lying about foreigners and women, and see disabled old people as the new minority to tell lies about. Shameful really.
