It would be no bad thing if we could enjoy the simple austerity that comes with Sharia Law. Imagine town centres at the weekend without puking, fighting, drunks. Young women would dress and behave modestly. Young men would learn to respect family values or face the consequences.

AOG, the very same could be said of countless ex-pat areas abroad, we have no respect for Sharia in Dubai, I've got a mate who lived in Saudi and used to smuggle alcohol in for years, people are people.

Islam is not a peaceful religion but neither is Christianity.
You say they integrate well , but do they ?
They dress differently which sets them apart . Many of them ,women in particular never learn to speak English . They associate as much as possible with each other. When they have any work done it is usually with other Muslims . They prefer to trade with each other . They live in Muslim areas. They set up Muslim schools.
I know there may be reasons for these things , but that is not the point you say they integrate well and it is not the case.

Most definately, thanks to the Labour Party, and i've said it before, I reckon in approximately twenty years, tops.

Strange really, but its only the members of this particular religion that want to take over the country, only a minority, granted, but they are the ones making the loudest noises.

As for Sharia Law, its not needed, we just have to reinstigate the punishments of the 1950/60s.

It stands to reason that if one section of society is growing considerably faster than any other, then if that trend continues, eventually that section will make up the majority of the population - and that means the majority of electors. Simple.

Nope...I left school in 1985. So I'm a product of 'Tory' schooling (except my local council was staunchly Labour).

The numbers simply don't support any contention that this country could possibly become predominantly Muslim.

I shall repeat this - it is not possible.

It's a mathematical impossibility.

Although a small minority of young Muslims are becoming more radical than their parents, I think the trend is that second and third generation immigrants have become and are becoming more secular.

So although children are being born into immigrant families, it doesn't necessarily follow that they'd want the UK to become an Islamic state.
