Operation Moshtarak

In the space of a week, we hear the very sad news of the fifth soldier to be killed in the Sangin district of Helmand Province in Afghanistan..
Surprisingly none of these deaths were connected to Operation Moshtarak.
We were told that Operation Moshtarak, was to be a very dangerous purge against the Taliban, yet we hear very little of the progress if any of this action.
In view of these latest fatalities in Helmand Province, are the NATO forces concentrating on the wrong area?
Noting the fact that we are told that we are in Afghanistan, to keep the streets of Britain safe and also considering the number of deaths in Pakistan carried out by the Taliban, surely the Pakistanis should be fighting by our side in Afghanistan, so as to keep their streets safer?

I guess Operation Sherdil must have been a figment of my imagination!
And this must be just nonsense

Didn't the Mail report it?

Pakistan has hundreds of Madrassas which are religious schools where they learn by heart every word of the Koran month after month until they are word perfect. They are so brain washed that when they enter the military training camp ( which is frequently next door ) they will blindly carry out its instructions. Many of our terrorists attended these schools. The Pakistan authorities have allowed this to happen for over 20 odd years. Recently these terrorists have been attacking their own people and at last Pakistan has been fighting back.
