Reading a newspaper or a book in hard copy is a pleasure but on a computer screen it is a pain in the neck. So no I wouldn't pay.

News is in the public domain. There are plenty of sources on the net I would use as an alternative.

No way would I pay. I would urge everyone else not to. It could be the start of a slippery slope for paying to view any website by the penny.
