The essential aspect of boxing is to secure 'points' by hitting someone about the face and body - outside the ring, that's called 'Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm' and it's an offence.
The primary object is to secure a win by a 'kock-out'. This is achieved by hitting someone's skull so hard that the brain presses against the bones of the skull resulting in at least unconciousness, and with a real prospect of brain damage - outside the ring, assaulting someone to the extent that they are beaten unconcious would very likely result in a criminal record.
The whole concept is barbaric, and the notion that women are being encouraged is a retrograde steip in our civilised society.
So, no it is not OK, and no it should not be allowed.
