I thought Cameron was fantastic, he was controlled, the first one to use a questioner's name. I thought it was clever when he spoke about a black man concerned about immigration instead of highlighting it as a white issue. Everytime he embarked upon an ancedote I laughed and wished he would stop, but by the end of it, I thought - no - this is great, he is being personal and trying to relate to people through individual stories of his experience.
He was compassionate and praised soldiers, NHS workers etc - he said 'brilliant' 3 times. I found him convincing and forceful and his opening and closing speeches were inspiring. I think he represents a New Tory and I could see him as a good Leader. I didn't think this of Clegg at all. He did extremely well but there was no substance there. I think at one point he contradicted himself on the Immigration issue. I would rather a question be avoided then hear someone contradict what they just said especially in a debate like this.
sorry but I'm continuing......
