Will the chaos caused by the repatriation of Brits from continental ports, be a heaven sent opportunity for more illegal immigrants to get into this country?

only if they can swim
A resounding YES.!!
I do not see this as boring at all, we have a problem and so it should be debated openly !
It's because AOG posted it...
oh, I'm saying nowt then ummm lol
keeping away from controversy for a while :-)))
I can well imagine in the chaos some illegals will slip through the net which is pretty porous anyway.
They say that all the extra boats etc will still require travellers to show passports and legitimate travel documents. Let's not make this another tedious thread about immigration please, I feel sorry enough for the people who are trying to get back to the UK (a large part of whom seemed to be on the trains between Dover and London today ,having made their long way by ferry!).
Forget Dunkirk. How do you think many of illegals are getting here. As shown in pictorial news stories of inflatables going across the channel to pick up those unable to get back home. I would think rubber inflatables are unable to be picked up on radar. We are fighting a losing battle!
