Why would Denise Welch's story be shocking to anyone?

There's nowt new under the sun and it's all been reported in various papers anyway, her children will be so proud.
The story I want to read is what The Duke of York and Fergie get up to, they're an amazing couple and work very hard and have raised two normal kids, their lives are probably quite interesting in a mundane normal sort of way.

I don't know the story, I don't get papers regularly and haven't seen the TV news for a couple of days - but I've always thought DW was a good actress. Did she have a baby not that long ago? what's happening now?
