unfortunately I find it hard to disagree with his argument; the establishment of Israel has made the Middle East a powder keg, and Israel itself has a long record of simply ignoring UN resolutions it doesn't like, knowing its chief sponsor, the US, hasn't the will to lean on it to comply with them. I do know why Israel was founded; but I think its creation has done more harm than good, and the UN has never been able to do anything about it. Having all the European diplomats storm out rather than argue against him seems to underline the point.
