He is scottish, so obviously knows very little about the World Cup. His insight seems none existent, but apparently the ladies like him so that appears to be the only reason to employ him.

He is also very miserable, humourless and dour. Maybe a shot at the Labour party leadership would be a better career option.

You should all tune into RTE2 for the punditry. Eamon Dunphy, Johnny Giles, Graeme Souness and a few more. They tell it how they see it, they don't lick up and they are great craic. Don't know what they are paid but they are probably worth it.
