I truly believe that Michael Jackson is innocent and that the whole thing is set up. It is a sick money making scam by some sad individuals.
Does anyone agree?
Who will be wearing white tomorrow to support Michaels innocence?
Michael will always be my hero.

Didn't realise it had gone midnight when i hit Submit! Who will be wearing white today to show support for Michael?

I'm wearing blue today.

Hopefully justice is blind and he will either be found not guilty and leave court without a stain on his character, or he will be found guilty and punished appropriately.  Sadly, neither are likely outcomes.

I don't know how anyone can possibly say whether he's innocent or guilty right now, without having heard any eviodence either way.  Of course, you are at liberty to believe or disbelieve whatever you chose.

Quite personnally, I've always thought he was a complete freak and the fact that he sleeps with and only relates to, children is deeply unsettling, as is the apparent hero worship surrounding him.

That does not of course mean he molests children, and I have no axe to grind with him.  I just hope the jury and the court manage to reach a verdict that seems to agree with the evidence.  [Edited for legal reasons - AB Editor]

I don't believe he is a child molester.  But agree that we should wait and see what comes out in the trial.  If it's just the word of the boy and the mother then no, i don't believe it.

As someone pointed out on tv this week, if he was a paedophile there would be more than 2 boys in 20 years to come forward, especially now it's come to trial.

Mind you, saw documentry with his parents last night and they're strange.  He didn't really have a chance!

I thought the same until i heard on a documentary that after the first accusation, he is no longer allowed to make a pay off, he must face a court case.

Why then would this other boys family do this knowing that he will not make money, and will be persecuted by Jackson fans?

I believe MJ is innocent until proven guilty - tried by a jurt of his peers. Our opinions, one way or the other, can only be based on personal impressions, opinions, and prejudices, and have no real relevence. I would not make an issue of support in the way suggested - obviously MJ is presumed innocent, for now.

Agree with Jills - no one can possibly say without a doubt, at this stage, whether he is innocent or guilty.

But what I do know is, that no matter how much money I had, if I was completely innocent I would not have paid any money to anybody to keep them quiet, I would be using it to clear my name! and yes I know that is what he is attempting to do now, but not through choice!!

he has obviously spent the last 15 years establishing an Insanity Plea - just look at him!

Andy is right- MJ is innocent until proven guilty. However, I would not only be very wary of a man wanting to sleep with children - but also of a man precariously dangling 'his' baby over a high up balcony!

jills - I agree with you on MJ. Also, AB Ed banned my question & edited bernardo's post on the 'possibilty' of OJ Simpson being guilty.

Until the all the evidence has been heard nobody can say whether MJ is innocent or guilty.

Having watched several of the documentaries and interviews about him, including the one with his parents that was on last night, I find the whole 'Jackson' thing very bizarre.

Only time and evidence will tell us the verdict.

Please be extremely careful when posting remarks about this case and the surrounding details. We must endeavour to avoid at all costs defaming anyone. A libel action could have serious legal and financial consequences on this site and on the author of the offending post. Thanks for your care.

well we do not yet know what evidence the prosecution has against him. If he is guilty then he should be punished accordingly. If he is proved innocent he should at least be ordered to see a specialist to curb his way with kids.

The jury selection should be interesting, Only a group of 12 Death Metalers would find him guilty anyway

Here is a man of 40 odd years, who can only relate(non sexually I think) to little boys, why?because mentally I think he is still 9 or 10 years old!

Exactly, but most 9 or 10 year olds are curious about each other with the "You show me yours and I will show you mine" scenario.  Which makes me believe this is what happened

sorry for keep posting but things keep springing to mind.

The major factor of this case would be for the boy in question to describe MJs genitals which I believe is part of the evidence

The trouble with Michael Jackson is  he had spent his entire childhood amoungs adults he  never been with children.  Now as an adult himself now he realises he has missed out on his childhood.  I don't believe he has abused children he just likes to be amoungst them but he also has to realise it is  wrong to share a bed or a bath tup with them
There are a lot of people in the world who, for one reason or another, have not had 'childhoods' as we recognise the concept, but is that a justification for breaking the rules and taboos that govern society? I don't believe anyone but MJ and his 'companions' will ever know the truth, and a high-profile case like the present one is probably not going to elicit anything resembling the truth, but surely by now even an oddball like MJ should have got the message that his behaviour has been, to put the kindest interpretation possible on it, highly inappropriate?

It's nice to see that not everyone thinks michael is guilty. I agree with most of the comments but i still believe that he just has child like ways like all of us do. Only he didn't have a childhood as such to express himself the way we did as children. If you had millions in the bank, knowing you never had a real childhood, then you would want to help children enjoy theirs, making sure they don't have their childhood taken from them. That is what i feel michael jackson has been doing. Unfortunatley there are always people/media that will take advantage of a situation like this.
I see what you mean, Splodge24, but if you just to help other kids, why not set up some kind of charitable trust to support deprived kids. It's the 'hands-on' approach that has everyone wondering. If you took the MJ persona and publicity away and just described the events - and I don't mean the allegations, just what's already admitted by MJ and in the public domain - it would read like a classic paedophile set-up, and any responsible parent would run a mile. Somehow the wealth and fame have blinded some of these families to common sense - what would you think if your pubescent son told you a middle-aged man wanted to be his very best friend and share his bed and bath?
It seems rather odd, that in all the time the suspicions & accusations against MJ have been going on, the 'natural' Mothers of 'his' two children, have not come forward to claim, or been given total care & charge of them - I wonder why this is?
