What's your point, RebelSouls?
Isn't it a matter for 'the rabid troll' whether he moves his family?
You are clearly still hurt by the 'hounding' you received for not having a TV licence. I admire your passion but I'm not sure where you are trying to get to with all these posts about BBC 'fat cats' and how the BBC spends its (our) money.

Mr Salmon, will be entitled to up to £1,900 a month in rental fees for up to two years.
Critics say many rank and file staff will not have the option to commute between the two cities because they do not earn anywhere near the salary of Mr Salmon, who got total pay of £430,000 last year. And many could not afford to run two homes.
Factor he could rent a flat ? He could buy half my street with that kind of money.
Troll food :)

No we have some beautiful places in Yorkshire, although my daughter lives 'down south' and wouldn't come back here to live. I have always wanted to live somewhere on the coast, and i must admit it tends to be much colder up here, so the south coast has been on my wish list. Having said that I don't think I'll ever move away from Yorkshire.
You could of course apply for the job then RebelSouls next time it becomes vacant.
Like it or not, it's a fact of life that organisations have to pay a lot for very senior staff and have a retention package. The move is designed to save money. He'd get reloaction costs whether he had a flat for himself or a bigger house for his family in Manchester.
But as you've already told us you don't pay for a TV licence I'm a bit puzzled as to why you feel so strongly about the pacakge paid to this guy. There will be several hundred other people in Manchester earning more than him- execs of other organisations, self employed business owners, top barristers, top investment bankers, footballers, musicians. models, drug dealers...

Moving much of the BBC to Manchester is designed to save the License payer a lot of money
I'd have thought the Mule and RS would both approve of that
Ah but that's not the agenda is is? the agenda is distroying the BBC to make sure that only tabloid style material is aired and that there's no competition for the likes of Murdoch.
(Do you think RS knows what a troll is? he seems to be using the term in a rather strange way) http://en.wikipedia.o.../Troll_%28Internet%29
