Mother Lets 12yo Daughter Have Sex.

Is this woman, who put her daughter on the pill at age 11, and who now allows her, at 12, to have sex with a 14yo boyfriend, fit to be a parent?
She's condoning the boy to commit unlawful sexual intercourse/rape with her own daughter.
Surely she ought to be prosecuted and have her children taken into protective custody?

He's underage. The law is not there just for girls.

Her maturity at 12 and his maturity at 14 would put them on about the same wave length.

I totally agree with you eyethekyew I am amazed at how people can say she is a responsible mother if you have a 12 year old having sex then you have done something wrong somewhere along the line.I was still playing with dolls at 12 years of age. So she is going to do it anyway so just put her on the pill dont bother with addressing why she feels it is ok to be having sex at 12 or dont bother talking to the boys parents dont do anything she wont get pregnant at thats all that seems to matter crazy!

The mother had a child when she was just 15. Unless she kept her daughter a prisoner she couldn't stop her having sex.
It is better that the girl uses contraceptives or becomes another teenage mother?

There was a case in ireland a while back where a boy challenged the current law over here as being gender bias because he was 15 and she was 14 when they had sex and her parents had him charged. I think that case is still waiting to be heard at the high court but his legal team will be claiming the law he is charged under unfairly grants the girl immunity from prosecution despite having had sex with him.dont no if thats same kind of law in the uk where underage sex in concerened.

That was really ridiculous and shameful. Hope the government will do something about it. As your question, definitely she might be prosecuted.
