Morning moony. We have a barbie today, but on the grounds it is a mite soggy outside I think we will be indoors!
Belated birthday greetings wbm - I hope your family celebration is a jolly one ♥
Morning ttfn. Thank you. We had a great day on Wednesday. To day will be fun too. Grandson is doing the cooking. It should be good, I taught him :-)

Having a sleepless night?
You could say that wbm - one of many but I cope with it. No cooking for you then young man - hope you escape the washing up duties too
good morning WBM and all,, lucky You ,, having a barbie,, ours would float away!!!!
Morning bet. It's going to be inside. A Hyacinth Bucket Outdoors Indoors event :-)

I usually do the washing up as well as the cooking and Mrs wbm does the drying up. Today our gorgeous D-I-L will pour me a large whiskey, she will pour herself a red wine and tell hubby and son to sort the washing up between them. and they will! :-)
I think you have just explained the purpose of passing skills down the generations wbm ☺ The great school of life !
sounds like my idea of heaven Wbm,, I'm back over my daughters today helping her to move,,, "how do people collect such a load of rubbish" which has to be recycled but when we ordered chips we couldn't find a fork for love nor money so used the old fashioned implements,,, "fingers" mmmmmmmmmmmm delicious ,, I think it was me that packed em but I'm not admitting to it..
bet - the thought of moving home makes me shudder. I wouldn't know a removal man if I fell over one. Your daughter would not have blamed you - after all you were the unhired help?
it works a treat ttfn☺ Well worth teaching him. When he was small (he's 18 now) he would present himself at the kitchen door and say "Number two chef reporting for duty." He wouldn't come into the kitchen until I told him to.

The best implements going bet! invented long before forks. Can't beat it. Do you remember six penorth of chips with salt and vinegar, wrapped in yesterdays newspaper and eating them as you walked down the road? Majik!!
How we have done it I dont know TTFN.. just 4 days to pack.. move,, and set up in the new house,, at 9oclock last night they still hadn't got the beds up!!! but they are young and the grandchildren thought it a great adventure... Like you I aint moving anywhere ever again ha ha
Sounds like a plan bet!
Just wondering if they found the forks to eat the chinese they ordered,, could have had a bit of trouble with the rice!!!!!!
In that case the one with the shortest nose would have won ☺
ha ha ha nice one ttfn.. wonder whats on the menu today????
I hope the great cutlery hunt would have found its treasure by now bet. I do have an old wicker picnic basket so if I ever moved that would go in the car with the coffee pot and kettle along with the contents of the drinks cupboard! I am nothing if not organised.
time to go folks,, I've packed me pinny,, see you all tomorrow ,,have a great day whatever your plans,, byeeeeee
Correct priorities ttfn!
Have a happy day bet. xxxxx
Don't work too hard bet. The older I get, the wiser I get wbm - otherwise what is the point?
