Why now? I know very little about the case but he was charged as a tea leaf anyone know more about what he did? Guilty/innocent? More importantly though why does he want to come back now? Bored with Cyprus? Skint?

conservatives are in power even though a coalition. and he has always been well in with them. didnt michael mate s resign because he was a mate of his? deals are being done he will get a tag and a smakced wrist and that will take years to.

the government finally agreed that he could arrive and be put on bail rather than being locked up the minute he landed. Given that he was a big donor to the Tories, I wonder if the change of government brought this change of heart?

I think the main allegations are fraud rather than theft

maybe he ould have dementia and be only the second person after ernest saunders to be cured of it? fraudsters seem to be able to recover from anything and maybe they should do gene research on them ?

I expect he's been advised that the Prosecution will fail. Otherwise he wouldn't take the risk of jail. He certainly looks fit enough not to get away free like Saunders did
