Grown-up who posed as schoolboy

Does anybody remember a news story from a few years ago about a young adult who so liked school that he re-enrolled under a false name and age and went back? I seem to remember it was in Scotland and that his name was Brandon something. Can't find it anywhere on the net. Any ideas?

He went to my friends old school (when he was an adult) and my ex took a family portrait of him and his family - he kept thinking the guy looked familiar but it was only later he realised who it was. His real name was Brian McKinnon or something wasn't it? (sorry, couldn't be bothered looking at the link, computer's playing funny beggars today)
