More than 26 anti social incidents in Britain per minute..
I am down as saying not all young ones are bad , they are some mighty decent young folks in our country..
but what would be the answer to this breakdown of law and order?
2 compulsory yrs in the Army?
Why should they deal with the dregs of society?
Stiffer sentences?
Prisons are full to overflowing!!
Maybe ridiculing the offenders in, say, large Stadiums? Hell No! HR would have a field day.
Boot Camps run by ex Army toughies?..sounds good to me

Squddies are the cause of half the anti-social behaviour!
You want to fix the problem?
Shut pubs - alcohol is related to a huge number of violent and anti-social incidents.
But I'd guess that you don't want to fix the problem badly enough to make sacrifices in the way you live - or am I wrong?

Joining the army was the only hope they had of getting a job.. Anti-social people join the army as well. They think it's what meat heads do...
The others...maybe they haven't been given the aftercare they needed. Watching your mates get blown to bits can have a long term affect on people...

9% think it's gone up a percent since then
Certainly shows the forces is no cure for anti-social behaviour doesn't it?

Why is that JNO?
IMHO it's because the average educational qualification for someone joining the army is 1 GCSE at A-C.
Some get lucky and learn a trade but many just learn how to fight.
They get out and find that they have nothing much more than they went in with.
They'd probably still be in prison without the armed forces background - It's not a cause and it's not a cure - it's a holding pen.
The problem has to be fixed in schools getting kids engaged and giving them a future without them having to opt for the Army as a last resort.
We should keep the armed forces out of schools too. Try to stop low achievers seeing it as a safety net
