Sqad...believe

We had a young family when she first came to no. 10..........I will never forget how she, and those who backed her, changed this country for the worse, and we are still suffering from those changes today. As an example I cite the 'me, me' culture that sprang more to the fore under her 'leadership'.
I Don No....that is your opinion and you are entitled to it.
That isn´t my point.
Wanting to hasten the death of an old lady, whoever she may be is not what I would call......normal decency.
Get lost you lot-wishing death on someone-shame on ya !!

Its my Husbands birthday today and also a guy who drink in the Legion with him -join me in raising a glass to them both ;)
birthdays are annual celebs but miners rescued from these depths are not.

Cheers to the rescuers and D. Cameron for phoning UK goodwishes to Chile PM (visiting Downing St next Wednesday).
I think Chile has certainly done more for miners that Margaret Thatcher

'Thatcher' and 'normal decency' are not two things I would ever put together.

And as for the inference that I am not normal or decent...........you do not know me
She was a great orator and states-person, as was Hitler ;-)

good points made there by Answerprancer and Jake
..but she's out of harms way now, so with that proviso - happy birthday Baroness Bathory - er Thatcher (sorry). I sincerely hope that "Lady Thatcher" response from AOG was tongue in cheek.
Only two prime ministers have been granted the privilege of a state funeral:
1) The Duke of Wellington in 1851
2) Sir Winston Churchill in 1965; both in recognition of the inestimable service rendered to their country.

As a Tory, may I say that I fully understand the visceral antipathy aroused by Mrs Thatcher in the bosoms of those of a different political persuasion, yet would tentatively suggest that she had far more b0llocks than her predecessor as Tory leader, and indeed her successor.

she did Mike............she was full of them!
At this point we must diverge.
I.Don No - - - she did Mike............she was full of them!

Priceless . . .
O so the posts about her state funeral.wishing her dead and comparing her to Hitler (i do wonder about you AP truthfully more so than Thatcher)
Right the irony hasnt been lost I.Don.No.
Bet if i wished someone dead i would be banned -thats scary sh!t on a public forum. What if she's taken put tomorrow eh? Naw didnt think anyone thought of that scenario -naive peeps.
Dris - the reality is that if Thatcher pops her clogs tomorrow the miners will still be front page news. Ironic or what?
True -cant deny the irony A.Guest..
Woulnt wish her dead tho.
i bet she wont die of hyperthermia like some old folk will do this winter.....
Not saying it doesn't happen but there's no reason for anybody to die of hypothermia in this country. If its cold and you can't heat your full house heat individual rooms or put on extra layers.
Well I sent her a birthday card......
I remember when she went to view her wax image at Madam Tusseaus. The glassy eyes in the waxworks were more compassionate than hers.
