Was the Radio Advertising Clearance Centre (RACC), right to ban this radio advert, even though the producers offered to broadcast it after the 'watershed' and taking into account children can watch much worse than this on TV soaps?

Perhaps the RACC would be better employed banning those adverts, that are deliberately full of half-truths etc?

Not quite in the same vein but apropos of Halloween - My daughter works in a nursery and made some white paper ghosts which the children then decorated. My daughter put them on string with the intention of putting them up in the 'classroom' but was told they might scare the children. These are the same kids who go out dressed up as Freddie Kruger and the living dead!

You can see FAR worse on the TV well before 9pm. And you just want to hear some of the things I hear from the kids walking past my house after school!!!

Wrong or not, they've probably scored an "own goal" in all the publicity that AS will get over this.

The screaming is a bit alarming it has to be said though obviously i'm used to Mrs Zeuhl making that kind of noise in bed on a regular basis - usually when she wakes up and sees me.

thank the lord for that!! i work in ann summers and was really getting put off by that damn advert! really puts you off being played every bloody 40mins! sounds hrooible and for the first time was actaully embarssed to be a part of the indusrty.
