If you could have personally witnessed one event in history, what would you want to have seen?

Margaret Thatcher's death
The Resurrection of Christ
Francis.......you must be a sad character.
Francis what a terrible thing, to wish for the death of another. You don't really live up to your user name........
the building of the puramids, stonehenge stuff, easter island heads, stuff like that - but speeded up :-)
*pyramids*
a silent movie in the roaring twenties in an old cinema
I would have loved to have been there for the relief and euphoria when the second WW ended, the dancing and street parties, the sheer relief of those who survived, tinged with the awful sadness of those who did not return
I'm not sad, just incredibly bitter.
I would want to stand on the Grassy knoll in Dealy Plaza Dallas at 12:30pm on the 22nd of November 1963
to see slavery abolished
The first time a man replaced a toilet roll oh sorry it never happened...
but Dave???
to see the tragic death of JFK???
I wouldn't!
Perhaps to hold Zapruder's camera still...?
Thatcher hasn't passed away so I don't think that is an historic event.

Bloody Mary's death and Elizabeth's accession to the thrown.
Bobbi not to see it, but to see behind the knoll, you obviously couldn't change history, but from a small child the whole thing has intrigued me.

I would really like to know if there is any truth in the grassy knoll, I couldn't watch JFK.
Mark something of that sort.
I would love to have seen first hand the present Queen's coronation. It looks fantastic on the old films, and coming when it did, not long after the end of the war, it must have been quite uplifting.
Nothing or no one, I make my own history.
not a global historic event, but I wish I could have met my grandparents.
