Wellies!!
Wellies...with welly socks :-)

I've got some pink flowery ones...
trainers are lethal on snow!!
wellies!
Tartan wellies or a tart in wellies...:-0)
Hunters.........I'm just looking at some gorgeous black ones with blue flowers on.
Hiking boots!
Neither ...wellies are too cold, traines are too chav.
Deep snow = wellies. But once people start to clear their paths and pavements it is time to get the spiked golf shoes out. It is impossible to slip on ice and I can outstep anyone.

Hobbit foot hair all the way for you then Naz? That should sort that problem out... ;oP

<Sigh>... I really hope Robert Dyas sell wellies!
BM I must admit I've just been out in my Timberlands............and that was just to the garage!
^ Naz prefers to go barefoot... or a sheep on each foot...
Mudrucker boots . Lined ,warrm ,waterproof .They grip on the ice . I look as if I've lost my horse but who cares in this lot :)
I use hiking boots
My timberlands have not been "snow proof" since I sat with them almost in a camp fire and melted bits off them.
I have some wellies with zips, bright red suede tops and fur lined with very grippy soles Courtesy of Cotton Traders half price sale and I aint 'alf glad I invested in them a couple of weeks ago!!

Really, really warm, comfortable and weather proof. My walking boots are for best!!!
trainers def not, way to slippy, i've got walking boots
I live in boots so I'd say boots. I did where wellies to work once and forgot to take my boots to change into. Looked like a right pillock walking round the office in them. Last time when it snowed my colleague gave me some ice grippers to put undernearth my boots so I wouldn't go skiing down the pavement. Only problem with ice grippers is that you must take them off before stepping off the snow/ice onto normal ground or getting in the car.
My favourites are also from Cotton Traders ...

Scafell Waterproof Trek Boot ... £40, iirc.
Yeah Naz, my walking boots are similar and great too. But I reserve them for best to wear with my party gear!! ;o)
Cat boots and trainers but theyre darned heavy for walking :(
Went out in my fake Uggs today went all my length (comedy fall no.1) in the garden and the first thing I grabbed was my climbing rose (ouch).Back to car with spade -was clearing it and slipped and went up to my bum under the car -head on roads -not a good idea (comedy fall no 2).
Dont wear Fake Uggs:)
