Just when you thought how are we going to manage with all the cuts, your Government is dishing out another £37m of your money to aid overseas farmers on climate change.
When are we to receive any money from overseas, to aid the changes in this country, climate or otherwise?
Scuba rice eh?, which apparently can survive underwater for two weeks, I don't know how long we can survive, but I do know we are sinking fast.

People living on the streets in cardboard boxes, because they can't find shelter,
Our young people, who cannot afford to get a step on the housing ladder.
Our school leavers some who cannot read or write, others who cannot get a job and others who are now finding it too expensive to go to university.
Yes in the true British spirit, let's look after others before looking after our own.
It is those others that never have a good word to say about us, and are always ready to knife us in the back when we turn about.

Why don't you go to Africa and work towards giving them some of what you enjoy?
Incidentally why did you specifically choose African women as being raped by the British, is it to somehow make excuses for all the gang rapes that are committed in this country, specifically by black gangs?

at least 60% of it is channelled through as investments or projects which employ british firms and british people.
Perhaps you should ask the british engineering firms hanging on whether money will be available for the dam building project in Bangladesh or the british research scientists employed on developing new crops for international NGO's like IRRI whether they want this funding to stop.

You should be totally ashamed of yourself, and I am surprised more haven't equally condemned you, because on behalf of their elderly parents or grandparents they have every right to do so.
So everything you have you have earned, and I suppose you are in a job that runs a company pension, in which case you only provide part of your pension. You should consider yourself lucky that you have been given the opportunities that you now enjoy.
Perhaps those 'Elderly scroungers' as you so call them, wasn't given the chances that you have, perhaps they were away at war for 6 years of their lives, fighting to give you the country and the freedoms that you now enjoy.
Then on their return working hard and paying their taxes that have gone to providing such as you with a decent education etc.

They have relatives...it's just that in this country the concept of the extended family died a few years ago. You watch any film or tv show from the 60s and before, and you'll see families taking in grannie, granddad or maiden aunts - this is where the term 'granny flat' comes from.
Now what happens?
People look to the state to provide for their elderly relatives.
You have a look around an old people's home and ask yourself, "Whyare there never any black, Asian or Chinese people sitting here, pining away until they die"?
It's because the extended family is still strong amongst practically ALL ethnic minorities.
Do the Brits hate their elderly because sun-consciously they blame them for the mess they left the country in?

sp1814 Surely you understand that hard work does not automatically ensure a comfortable old age. Many of today's pensioners worked hard but in low-paying jobs. Either they did not have the opportunity, or it has to be said, the intellect to take a high-paying job with perks - this does not make them scroungers. We have one of the lowest pensions in Europe but not everyone has been able to save to supplement it.
By the way - the vast amount of elderly scroungers didn't actually fight during the second world war. Only those over 65 did.
Furthermore, I have never had a day in a quarter of a century when I haven't been in full time employment. I have pumped money into private pension schemes so that when I DO retire, i won't be a burden on either my family or society.
If I can do that - why can't they?

But what IS true is that we have the worst set of pensioners the country has ever known. If they'd concentrated on anything else except striking in the 1970s, then we would have an economy like Germany or Japan.
