I do.
It wasn't the Tory pledge that brought the crowds to the streets. It was the Lib Dems....
Divided suggests 50/50. Don't think so in this case.
doesn't have to be 50:50; even 70:30 suggests a divided nation. And part of it is just how strong the divisions are: if 30% don't like but are sort of ok with it, no problem; if 30% feel they're being robbed and are angry about it, then that's a divided nation.
I just thank god that Cameron has followed Brown.....
Even 70:30 seems to high in this instance. 97:3 is more like it (the 3 being the students).

Zippy.....LOL....I know........but I thought that answer might "wind him up"
The government annouces hikes in student fees = 'students' protest against the fees = fees are hiked........good protest hmm.

<< no one like 'em for dividing the Nation <<<

That was what my "I do" answer was alluding to.
Why Tories? - I thought it was the Lib Dems changing their minds that caused most of this protest?
I seem to remember new labour had a bit of a habit of filling the streets and dividing the nation - the Iraq war demonstrations saw millions protesting.

This is what happens when you dumb down exams so much so that idiots think they should go to university at our expense .
If only! Cheap coal and full employment, instead of people with masters' degrees flipping burgers.

<<<they are fighting son, because if the tories get their way, the likes of you and your brother will be back down't pit in a few years , instead of going to school. never-mind university. .<<<<
Have you ever thought that your sons might be more suitably employed in a manual job rather than going to University?

It wasn't the Tories or the LibDems that brought the crowds out on the streets it was the Reds.

Why are students, lecturers, & teachers mainly Left Wing?
"Why are students, lecturers, & teachers mainly Left Wing?"
Having been all three I can say that actually they're not. These are only the ones you see.
