My heart goes out to the family of this missing 25 y/o woman...what an awful time for her family, just waiting for any news, a glimmer of hope..so saddended at this news...I sincerely hope she is found safe and well very soon ! !

Rov1200 - I am always suspicious of these TV appeals (not saying there is anything amiss here of course), but they generally involve the people who are then found to be guilty of the wrong-doing (there have been quite a few lately).

I do see what you mean having watched her parents appeal earlier, similar to that little girl Shannon Matthews mother did....it does make you think.....

Perhaps we could all make snap judgements based on gut-feelings or how well we think that the grieving family performed or carried themselves in front of the TV cameras ?

Are they too middle-class to be deserving of our sympathy, or just the right side of the working-class divide for us all to care ?

Do you not get suspicious as soon as one of these appeals is shown on the TV - lots of people must go missing everyday, so why do they put the spotlight on the ones that they do? Is it because the events surrounding the disappearnce are so unusual or because they are hoping the extra pressure will cause something to 'give'?

the pizza is a mystery. she bought it, returned home but it is also missing. yet her coat, mobile phone and purse and still there.

it's not about the police being concerned about the pizza, but obviously there is some relevance.

I watched a programme a wee while ago about body language and how to tell people who are lying, facial gestures etc and to be honest I coudlnt spot any of the 'tell-tale' signs... come on Rov & Sara why the fall out over this for goodness sake....behave.

Putting the parents up before the cameras is a ploy sometimes used by the police. They get a psychologist to interpret their actions and can usually spot a dud quite quickly. Unless of course they are very good actors.
