What are your pet hates ?
In the absence of any noteworthy news we were talking in the pub about our pet hates on television.
There was past his sell by date Bruce Forsythe , the gesticulations of Ricky Gervais , the repetitious crudity of Little Britain , the banality and nursery level humour of comedians ,
semi porn in drama and comedy in place of talent. Few people could see the point in trotting out ex-celebs who had nothing new to offer, like Becham and Posh . It was a mixed group of all ages. I wonder what are the opinions of us ABers ?

Invictas If this makes you happy then a Merry Christmas to you, but Sorry most of the time I can't understand your questions, or your answers to other ABers. They are a bit odd.
I've read your answers to myself and to sqd today and fail to understand your remarks.
However let us all enjoy our own little worlds wherever they are. Happy New Year.!

My pet hates on TV? Have you got an hour or two to read through them all?
OK, I'll stick to just one. It's programmes which use stand-up comedians, with little or no acting ability, instead of decent actors who could actually make the programmes watchable. 'Not Going Out' might be worthy of watching if it wasn't for Lee Mack's total lack of acting ability. Similarly, replacing Miranda Hart with a decent actress could improve a few more programmes. And whoever though that Johnny Vegas could act deserves shooting!

My pet-hates include make-over programmes whether they be body, face or house and all house related ones too. I used to love Ground Force but hated Changing Rooms for some reason. and now every single channel has to have something to do with either selling your house, looking for a house or doing interiors for your house. Arrrggghhh!!!
I've never got into Strictly CD and my interest in X Factor is waning. I'm also getting bored with Jamie, Gordon and Nigella although but I still watch them for ideas.
One programme I would love to see back is Supersizers Go.... with Sue Perkins and Giles Coren. They were brilliant and funny. I'm also loving Miranda. I didn't see the first series so I might get it on DVD.
