Wasting the Courts time (and Police and everyone else) is a serious offence. Apart from the cost it potentially belittles future trials/investigations of a similar nature.

For many cases, yes I would agree. In this one no, she will suffer enough.

If she has been pressurised by 'the community' to drop her allegations, what justice are they going to mete out to the husband - cut his dangly bits off? I know this 'muslim' type thread runs on and on but I have to admit that I agree with AOGs last sentence.
