ric ror Sorry I don't understand what you are talking about .You said //Well Roman Catholics in this country have paid for enough of your leaders holidays (and weddings) and not complained!! //

Which meant that RCs had paid for my leaders Blair Brown Cameron etc , and the coming royal wedding and had not complained. Fair enough but, as I answered they are our leaders for which we have to pay for but the Pope is not our leader and he is a foreigner. So why should we pay ? However if the RCs want their leader as head of the RC church to come to this country they should pay for him .
Now what's your beef ? I didn't call you a foreigner, I don't know, or care, what you are but the Pope is and if you want him here, you pay, don't expect the other 90% . of the population to pay for your indulgence in mythology.
ric ror // Modeller -they are not our leaders and we are not foreign //

If you are RC then they ( RC church ) are your religious leaders. What else do you call them ?
You may not be foreign ( no one said you were ) but you don't seem to understand English.

So I repeat the Pope is a foreigner . He is the head of the Vatican which is an artificial state.
So now we learn that not only was there an Official cost of his trip, but now we also learn that there was an Unofficial cost too!
Please don't tell me he is a Head of State(he is) but he is the head of a religious state,we shouldn't be paying for ANY of his visit.
We could have given a lot of that money to the children/families his buggerers abused!
