At a recent conference in Munich, David Cameron argued that the UK needed a stronger national identity. He also said, " We need to be clear: Islamist extremism and Islam are not the same thing," How do readers suggest we create a stronger national identity? pixi time and time again you see Muslims fail to support our troops for the war in Afghanistan. Even when they had a ceremony to applaud our brave soldiers the two government officials present refused to applaud were the 2 muslims.

The people you see on the news NOT supporting our troops are a handful, compared with the millions in the country who are not remotely given to animosity. The few are giving a bad name to the masses - and like pixi, I know many of them personally, the people I know do not express any ill feeling to the other People of the Book (Jews and Christians), the Koran suggests also that we have so much in common. It's only when Islam is under threat (which some people choose to consider that it is) that killing in the name of Islam is encouraged.
