Most of these view the world through rose tinted specticles and generally belong to the chattering classes. They neither care nor have time for the majority view. Often the so called intellectuals they come from or are stuck in the acedemic life. Few come from the 'University of life'. The other route is of course of the celebraty, who usually as less brains than my arse.

We've done nothing to help the advance of democracy in Libya. If Gadaffi's son is to be believed the popular uprising will be over in 48 hours. When our politicians go to Middle East countries they bring a retinue of arms dealers with them.
It doesn't look as though we've any interest in changing any part of the world

The British public have a long history of being very concerned with foreign policy - moreso than most people give them credit for. (Of course, like every public, they don't have as much of a history of being especially well-informed about it but hey ho).
Anyway,
"Why do lefties always think the worst of our governement on foriegn policy issues and generally *** us off and side with our enemies?"
They don't.
Next, please.

Joolee, Zehul, Fancy answering the question rather than slating those that bother to try ?
Or have you nothing really to say?
Rohash, yes you are corerct in that the Righties are willing to question a tory Govenrment rather than the pinko ideal of praising everything good or bad. At least you bothered to answer the question though.
Sandy, when has the Government said Democracy should be in Lybia? They dont like Gadaffi but maybe thats because he is a murderous dictator ??

If Blair had only listened to the lefties he could have prevented Britain from going to war in Iraq and saved countless lives. Its not left or right that's important. Its the inability to listen to others views by being dogmatic. Sometimes they may be right but if their judgement is normally wrong they are a danger to the rest of us. The fact that he was unable to apologize says it all.

But you didn't try, and YOU didn't say anything, other than (as was pointed out) parrot a string of tired old cliches. Oh, and well done - in your riposte you trotted another old favourite: pinkos. Maybe one day if you utter something vaguely original, people won't jump on you.
Oh, and to answer the question: there's no point answering such a silly generalisation.
