No
They just think they do!
Not that I've noticed, though I do find men much funnier than women.
Not after the menopause Ummmm.
I really can't see any difference. Humour is so subjective anyway. I think men enjoy 'jokes' more than women though. But I don't think enjoying jokes depend of having a sense of humour. I simply don't enjoy 'jokes' as such.
Men make me laugh more than women but it might just be in the eye of the beholder. I don`t find women sending themselves up funny (ie that Miranda woman) whereas men do it quite well.
I think Penelope Keith in The Good Life is an exception to that 237, but generally, I know what you mean. I can't abide Miranda and don't find many comediennes very funny. I think women laugh at natural humour better than contrived / rehearsed humour.
Generally yes, but not to any great extent.
not in my experience. o/h driving was ok, his navigating skills, nil, so any suggestion of oh dear you have taken the wrong exit, pointed out over and over, elicited nothing more than mutterings on his part, and sometime laughter on mine. You couldn't tell him he was wrong, not ever, which i found funny, grumpy man...
''don't find many comediennes very funny''

I can't recall one comedienne I find funny.
their inability to find women funny indicates the huge gaps in their sense of humour. Women on the other had find men very funny even when unintentional. So woman's soh is clearly better.
snags - I was being diplomatic.
I wasn't. I was telling the truth.

Lol!
I find Jo Brand funny because she has such a dry sense of humour and because of the inflections in her voice. I heard Dawn French on Steve Wright`s show once and she was funny whereas Steve Wright couldn`t keep up as he`s no good without a script.
plenty of good comediennes, and some very good comedians, surely it's a matter of taste as to what one finds funny
Erm , what is a ' better sense of humour '

Surely ones opinion of a sense of humour is a subjective thing ?
I think women are funny.
I think men smell.
