No way! It's -19 with a wind of 28 which results in a wind chill of -31. I'll be staying home and having a couple of "Old Speckled Hen".... Stay warm, you lot.

Have a good night, they'll miss you
We'll get it in three days. You must be used to it ! A friend has just flown in from Toronto. She was smoking a cigarette outside T5 at Heathrow, when a passer -by said that she must be cold. It was 5C ! She was not wearing any coat, of course, being used to Canada. She told the person that, in that temperature, youngsters at home would be wearing T shirts and shorts.

Psybbo, in this weather, they won't even send out a search-party:)
stewey, couldn't get a couple of jugs sent over.
We're certainly not, the storm's winding up here, should hit in a couple of hours if the forecast is correct. Looks fiendish on top of what we had last week :-(
Question Author
You're right, Fred; we're used to it. I really don't mind the cold, but that wind plays havoc with my eyes. My eyes water quite a lot in it, and watery eyes and frigid temperatures are not a good combination:)
What a wuss!
stewey, maggie would have you crossing that field in a kilt !.
Question Author
And a string vest?

depends on what is causing your eyes to water but I'll mention this anyway as deemed very good for watering eyes and deals with the main causes of the problem. MGDRx Eyebag. (can get from chemist or Pharmacy) or buy online at www.eyebagcompany,com
Some things are best left to the imagination, stewey
Brilliant Boxy!
stewey, wear a kilt Scotsman fashion and your eyes will water !. especially in the weather your experiencing.
Question Author
Thanks, CokeTulip. I'll look into that. As I said before, the temperature is no problem; however, with a chronic eye problem like mine you tend to avoid the windy situations.
Question Author
