How Will I Know?

When I found out that all the fish at my holiday home in Florida were being eaten by a heron, I got the phone number of a local hunter and organised for him to kill it.

Just before I hung up the phone I said to him, “I am a bit worried that I can’t track your progress from here in England.”

“How will I know that you’ve actually killed it?”

“That’s easy,” he replied, “I will send you the bill.”

seriously $5000 fine in the States.

Mate of mine went home from having coffee with us lot just outside Houston to find his neighbour out in the front yard with 2 rangers - there had been a report of someone shooting herons..... Ham goes across to see if he could help his neighbour out but things weren't helped by a heron falling out of the tree above them and 'splat - dead as a dodo' inside the ring that they were standing in........

Fortunately the rangers didn't throw the book at his neighbour, just a 'stiff' chirping to.......
