Consequence: a dire shortage of Buckie in Weegieland

Resolution - use a Weegie recipe to make a duplicate product.
2 parts Marmite
2 parts Bistro beef stock made from one litre of boiling water and 2 Oxo cubes
1 part Benilyn
3 parts cheapest Vodka.
1 tbsp of Za'atar,
Let the blend cool, stir and then sieve into the glass.

I think DTC's recipe is a poor sort of beef tea for invalids - I would always use shin beef on the bone as a base.

Buckfast Tonic Wine is a caffeinated fortified wine originally made by monks at Buckfast Abbey in Devon, England, now made under a licence granted by the monastery, and distributed by J. Chandler & Company in the United Kingdom and Richmond Marketing Ltd in Ireland. It is based on a traditional recipe from France. It never ceases to amaze me - the 'things' consumed in the UK, such as Marmite.
This was probably a cruel joke on the British by the French.
