Tell that to the men who

are late home to their wives.

It’s alternative transport

They want them to seek,

To get there by bus

(There’s at least two a week).

Or hop on the train,

Imagine the scenes,

Arriving at junction

like tins of sardines.

Everyone’s looking for

the dear boys in blue

Swelling the coffers

For their Christmas do.

So if going to Wales

Please heed this warning,

If you leave Sunday evening

You’ll be home Tuesday morning!
