Didn't he make washing machines and stuff?

I don'tknow if he made much dosh. His works were meant to depict the horrors of hell, and I imagine there was probably a good market from the church. Wiki will probably give you more info.

years ago I went to the type of party that the Beastie Boys used to sing about. in the morning, the disaster area that was the garden looked like it had been painted by Hieronymus Bosch....

They are a bit unusual but in a way I find them strangely compelling.  Not sure that I'd shell out for one though.

 

Think Salavador Dali comes under the same heading ...a bit on the weird side 🫢
