I love the bookies and have had the odd line at the bingo and played a book as well ;)
So thats that theory chapped on the head for me anyway.

Yep, see what you mean.
I do neither.....so what does that make me......?

Don't answer....
I go into my local betting shop quite a bit. I like a bet now and again and they're not like they used to be now they're no smoking. Free tea, coffee or hot chocolate is supplied as well.
Oh...I will do Lush...but not bingo...
I go in to my bookies to bet on stoke's tips occasionally, (if I like the name). I used to work in a bookies. I've never been to bingo.

Cooking outdoors and putting the rubbish out is blokes territory as far as I'm concerned.
I go in to bet on grand national and even then I have to ask for help lol. But I know most the people in there so doesnt bother me. I love Bingo

My old mother got to the semi-final of the Birmingham Evening Mail's tipster competition around the early eighties ... but then she did work in the bookies at the time so to this day they hold no fear for her.
Mr Boo did that to me last week at a Wacky Warehouse, the git watched me walk through the wrong door, then walk hurridly back out again before saying "you didn't want to go in that one did ya?"

Didn't you notice the urinals by the way?
I always go in the blokes toilets at clubs if women are waiting for the ladies. As long as I can get the cubical havent quite mastered the urinals
I do go there, sometimes. went today, and won £10! Wish I'd bet more on McCoy!......Good Jockey!...................
there werent any boo, well not that i noticed anyway...! just two cubicles and a sink and a mirror as far as i remember - but saying that i was still a bit blurry wasnt i..

id just gone in to wash me hands, nothing else, not a tinkle or owt, before leaving the hospital, oh and to put me sun glasses on thats all, cus the ol pupils were dilated from the drops and were sensitive to light....

Good on you welsh...
I had never been in a bookies til quite recently. I think it was Hau Kola gave me a tip a horse was running in the name of my cat at the time (yes, I'm such a girl haha) and had to get the lads at work to a) Explain how the whole betting thing worked b) Come to the bookies with me to put the bet on and c) Come watch the race with me. I think the fact I got quite excited that my horse was first over the line proved the point it is not the place for me seeing as the jockey had fallen off part way round!

Glass half full and all that :D

I know a few guys who are pretty savvy about the whole women's shops thing! My ex had a rather frightening knowledge of women's perfume and used to buy some amazing presents for me and female friends, he always seemed to know more about hairdryers and straightners and such than I ever had!

I tipped off another friend the other week that his token lovely chocolates birthday gift might be difficult for a friend as she's vegan. He turned up having been to Lush and found her a special vegan shampoo, we well all seriously impressed!
I don't understand your post, poodi - why would a woman NOT go in a bookies? and I know several blokes (including our very own docspock) who enjoy a game of bingo!
