what makes a good ABer? What qualities do you like to see in them - knowledge, kindness, compassion, humour, the ability to give supportive advice or to post thought-provoking threads (thought that would avoid putting 'stirring' or 'controversial') and others I no doubt will have missed?

Evenin' ttfn - I think you have summed it up - good for a laugh but equally able to give a sensible answer or IMO advice when we can help. Having a somewhat obtuse sense of humour does help on occasion.... and I like exercising my brain in Q&P.
what about giving regular winners ttfn???
anyone who posts - I like the different outlooks
kindness first. I like knowledge. I love humour. What I dont like is a judgemental attitudes. Someone being themself is always nice. I like BOO for that. I dont think Sqad really has a mistress, I think he likes to be controversail. I like doc even though he can be a grump old sod

Hiya boxy. Dave - wouldn't that be one heck of a nightmare to judge eh?! And what on earth could you give as a prize to such wonderful people ;o)
lol ttfn i guess you are right there but psssss get on rigid in the 21.10 at kempton....
a great big gobsh!te always makes AB interesting. not naming names of course..
I like to think the variety of all the above is what makes for an interesting forum. I like to waft around most of the topics, though am a bit scared to post on some due to lack of knowledge and am lousy at posting 'interesting' threads, so I leave that to those that can.
A good ABer is one who types the things that their 'friends' want to hear rather than typing the things they actually think

There's plenty of them on here
Friendliness and a sense of humour and also being kind and sensible. (and for Stoke, Chuck and Chris) the ability to pick some good winners, and give advice on technical matters.
Interesting JL - I don't post to please - at least I don't think I do, I go into the news etc sections quite regularly.

Evening tambo (you must be happy all the while then) mazie ♥ and cazzz (same as for tambo!) Dave - sorry mate I left out the ability to tip - humble apologies.
I think you should always say what you feel. Or on Q&P what you think you know.
someone who states their opinion and experiece with conviction but is willing to take on board other views. - a bit of technical/medical advice is good too!
