Ben knew he didn't have the same kind of clothes as Jason, come to that- replica football shirts, flashy tracksuits, baseball caps with logos and labels all over them.

could you expalin this come to that please?

I would need to see the preceding sentence to give a detailed explanation, but usually "if it comes to that" means "if you think about all the related details" or "if you look at the larger story."

For example:
My shoes were not as nice as Pam's -- all her clothes were always nicer, if it comes to that.
I wish this restaurant served ice cream -- or any kind of dessert, if it comes to that.
I think in the context bartholomew quotes it might mean 'let alone' or 'quite apart from' Jason's flashier clothes. In other words, that nothing Ben owned could in any way match Jason's 'superior' wardrobe.

'Come to think of it'

I think its like an add on - making a statement and then thinking of something that makes it more relevant and saying 'come to think of it'
